October News

I took part in another Hudson Artists art show this month. There were lots of other artists participating and lots of lovely work in all types of mediums. Mine was the only scratch art on display though.

I sold two pieces. My "Red Tailed Hawk", based on a photo I took this past summer at the Eco Museum in Ste. Anne de Bellevue, Quebec.

Also a pastel I did of a Snow Leopard.

I've not painted with actual paints or oils in a long time, so I'll have to get back into doing it. These two pieces are my latest scratchart ones I've completed.

Colt

I did this a few weeks ago. Tried dots for the colt, instead of scratching fur strokes.

White Siberian Tiger

Decided to do something different for a change, other than scratchart, so did the tiger in pastels. This is only the 2nd time I tried working with this medium. The first time was in 2006. Photo reference courtesy of Patty, a member of ABN.
